Olivia Laux, a senior at Elida High School, has officially volunteered at 2nd & 7 for a year. Athletes from our Elida program are visiting with the 2nd graders in the district five times this year to read and discuss a new Hog Mollies book title during each visit. Olivia shares that forming relationships, having fun, and watching kids learn as the most enjoyable moments at 2nd & 7.
In addition to playing soccer, Olivia is also a member of NHS and the THOR committee at Elida High School. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, volunteering and golfing.
At 2nd & 7, we feel special to be able to provide these experiences to young readers and athletes, just like Olivia.
