Amy started her journey with The 2nd & 7 Foundation in 2006 and now serves as the Executive Director.
As someone who loves reading, writing, and giving back to her community, Amy says that The 2nd & 7 Foundation captured her heart from the beginning and combined all her interests. For Amy, 2nd & 7 is her passion and she strives to make the world a better place by helping children discover the joys of reading while encouraging athletes to pay it forward. That is why her favorite aspect of working for a nonprofit is being able to live a life of service. Her compassion and ability to lead with her heart makes Amy perfect for her role at The 2nd & 7 Foundation. She is energized by her colleagues and says that each person she works with is integral to the foundation’s success. Amy loves all the Hog Mollie stories, but her favorites are the Rocky Relay Race, because it teaches children the importance of trying their best, and Mummy’s Mystery Maze, because it was fun to write a story that rhymes. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, sports and being outside. However, Amy’s greatest joy is being a mom to her three kids and spending time with her family.
The 2nd & 7 Foundation is proud to have Amy in our huddle!
